ANRE publishes grid usage fees and grid admission capacity

In the first quarter of 2024, ANRE published regulatory texts on grid usage fees in high and medium voltage and on the level of grid access capacity for renewable electricity producers until 2029.

The transparency created by this makes it possible for private investors in renewable electricity generation projects to calculate projects and business models precisely. These calculations can be used when applying for debt financing from commercial banks. The publication of the grid access capacity for renewable power generation facilitates future energy and expansion planning, as it is now known which capacities can be efficiently integrated into the Moroccan power grid.
