HydroJeel receives €30 million from the PtX Fund to develop green ammonia
HydroJeel receives €30 million from the Power-to-X Development Fund to accelerate green ammonia production on the Jorf Hydrogen Platform.
On February 12, 2025, HydroJeel, a subsidiary of INNOVX, officially signed a grant agreement with the Power-to-X Development Fund (PtX Fund) program for an amount of €30 million to accelerate the development of the Jorf Hydrogen Platform.
The PtX Fund is a program launched by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and managed by KGAL Investment Management on behalf of KfW.
Located at the strategic industrial site of Jorf Lasfar, the Jorf Hydrogen Platform is the second project selected by the PtX Development Fund. It aims to produce 100,000 tons of green ammonia per year by 2026.
Through this project, HydroJeel supports, on behalf of the Office Chérifien des Phosphates (OCP), Morocco's national green hydrogen strategy, which aims to position the Kingdom as a regional leader in the production and export of renewable energy.
