PAREMA Steering Committee 2025

The Steering Committee of the Moroccan-German Energy Partnership (PAREMA) was held on March 11, 2025, in Rabat, in a hybrid format. Co-chaired by the MTEDD and the BMWK, the meeting provided an opportunity to review progress in the energy sector in both Morocco and Germany.

Following a review of 2024, a year marked by numerous high-level political meetings, the priorities for 2025 were discussed, focusing in particular on the Sustainable Electricity Trade (SET) Roadmap, the promotion of private investment in renewable energy, green hydrogen, and the decarbonization of industry through the electrification of industrial uses.

The committee concluded with a shared commitment to strengthen this strategic partnership by more broadly involving key stakeholders of Morocco’s energy ecosystem, as well as the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK)
