Prefeasibility study: Green shipping in Morocco
Finalization of a prefeasability study about Green shipping in Morocco
In a large-scale study by the World Bank, ammonia and e-methanol were examined as hydrogen derivatives and possible substitute fuels for international shipping. On the other hand, the central ports of Morocco - in Mohammedia, Jorf Lasfar, Tanger Med and Tan-Tan - were analyzed to determine the extent to which they can play a role in local production (Tan-Tan), further processing (Mohammedia), consumption (Jorf-Lasfar) and storage and bunkering (Tanger Med). The results were presented in Rabat on September 24 with the participation of Minister Benali (MTEDD) and Minister Baraka (MEE).
