Tariffs: national transmission system
Tariffs for access to and use of the national transmission system fixed by ANRE
The National Electricity Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has set the tariffs for access to and use of the national transmission network from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2027.
This decision is the culmination of a process that began in January 2022 with the launch of the tariff methodology project. As part of this process, several consultations and a public hearing were organized to gather feedback from industry stakeholders.
The new tariff methodology aims to improve the services provided by the national transmission system operator, promote security of supply and enhance performance. ANRE's objective is to establish a fair balance between the quality of the services provided, on the one hand, and the tariffs to be paid by network users, on the other.
This is essential to ensure transparency for investors and to size projects according to available capacity.
